Scuba Diver is our entry level scuba certification course during which you will learn the fundamental knowledge and skills to safely scuba dive in open water. When you complete your class you and your buddy will be free to explore and discover the many wonders of the underwater world…and, you will have earned a NAUI Scuba Diver certification card – the most respected diver certification card in the world!

Evolution	Time	Overview
Classroom	14 Hours	Intro to SCUBA, Diving Science & Physiology, Dive Planning, Emergency Procedures & Diving Safety, Environment, Diving Activities

Confined Water	5 Hours	Equipment, Swim Test, Pre-Dive Skills, Basic Underwater Skills, Finning, Bouyancy, Ascents/Descents

Open Water	4 Dives	Repeat Confined Water Skills, Navigation, Planning, Logging, Communication, Emergency Procedures

Examination	1 Dive	Checkout Dive and Written Exam

Qualifications of Graduates		This is the entry level certification course. Provides the fundamentals to engage in open water diving without supervision of a diving professional to a depth of 60ft in areas that are similar to your training environment
Prerequisite's		Minimum Age: 15 Certification: None (passport diver skills and knowledge may be credited at instructor discretion) Pass Medical Screening and Swim Test
